Here's an example of Netflix repeating a formula (think: Elite, the After series) with mediocre results.

A high point is the setting, including some gorgeous aerial views of Barcelona, but the insistence on dimly-lit interior and night scenes is more distracting than symbolic.
Considering the popularity of the genre, better viewing options exist.
